Meet the Makers: Authenticity in Every Stitch
We aren't just designers; we are keepers of the flame. Founded by the duo of Brandon Tucker, the creative force, and Jennifer Freeman, the strategic lead, our roots run deep into the Florida soil.
By day, we serve as volunteer docents at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum, Sands History Museum & Launch Complex 26. There, we absorb the stories of America’s air and space programs from the legends who lived them, passing that history on to visitors from around the world.
Our story began when Brandon couldn't find a Hawaiian shirt that reflected the space history he loved for "Hawaiian Shirt Friday," so he spent months teaching himself graphic design and studying archival photos to create his own. From that blend of history and imagination, Cape Kennedy Clothing was born.
The "Clothing Cosmos": Why We’re Different
We don't make "loud" shirts. We make conversation pieces designed with obsessive attention to detail:
- Secret Constellations: At first glance, you see tropical prints; step closer, and you’ll find rockets, satellites, and aircraft tucked into the designs.
- Interactive History: Each shirt features a sewn-in QR code. Scan it, and your shirt becomes a portal to the history of the specific spacecraft and missions you are wearing.
- Local DNA: Our first-generation shirts feature buttons etched with the names of Brevard County’s arterial roads.
- The Cast: Meet Artie Redstone, our jazz-loving astronaut mascot, along with his friends Max Q and MECO, who embody our motto: Space is in style.

Our commitment to authenticity has led to direct collaborations with the leaders of the modern space race: We designed a custom Hawaiian shirt specifically for the Dragon spacecraft program. United Launch Alliance (ULA): We partnered with ULA to create a custom design for their Vulcan program.
